PrintLinx powers up energiprint
Lights stay on at energiprint after Melbourne company, PrintLinx purchases the struggling business.
After entering voluntary administration earlier this week, all of energiprint’s 60 staff have been thrown a lifeline with the news that PrintLinx has purchased the company and will take responsibility of employees entitlements, as well as the business’s assets, management, inventories and related items.
According to Frank Todisco, managing director of the PrintLinx Group, energiprint will operate as a wholly owned member of the PrintLinx group and there are no plans at this stage for the business name to change.
“We are delighted to have been able to secure the future for energiprint, its staff and customers,” Todisco said. “For staff, this means continued employment and the security of knowing that their new employer is a strong and financially sound company with a long track record in the industry.”
Todisco believes that customers of energiprint will “barely notice the change” and enjoy the same levels of service. “The people and operation in Keysborough [energiprint] remains unchanged.
“In the longer term, of course, both they and all our other PrintLinx customers will benefit from the expanded production facilities, capacity and additional technologies offered by the multi-faceted PrintLinx group, including our complete in-house bindery capacity and ‘single source’ production efficiencies and security,” he said.
“The result will be faster turnaround, better service and an even wider range of options for all our customers.”
