Printscape is a forum developed to display technological advancement in the graphic arts and printing industries.
- The open house and demonstrations have been designed to show Heidelberg's commitment to Graphic Arts solutions, integration and workflow applications for one pass productivity
- To show the benefits of linking CtP systems, long perfecting presses and digitised finishing equipment.
- To show the savings and profit potential in using paper reels in a sheet fed application
- Explore the benefits of using colour management to reduce make ready times and waste
This series will show for the first time in Australia Heidelberg's Cutstar reel to sheet device that drew so much attention at this year's IPEX. It will form part of a production flow centered on a SM102 8-colour press, printing four over four.
In a demonstration of the realities behind CIP4 production Printscape will also debut in Australia the ST400 Saddle stitcher, described by host Greg Grace of Heidelberg, "as the most intelligent piece of finishing equipment in the world."

The ST400 will be driven by instructions entered at the prepress stage of job creation, utilising Heidelberg finishing modules Compustitch, Compufold and Compucut.
The entire production process will be linked in a Prinergy workflow to showcase maximum productivity gains b y the use of advanced manufacturing processes in the printing industry.
