Printscape is a forum developed to display technological advancement in the graphic arts and printing industries.
This series will show for the first time in Australia Heidlerg;s reel to sheet device that drew so much attention at this year's IPEX. It will form part of a production flow centered on a SM102 8-colour press, printing four over four.
In a demnstatrion of the reslities behind CIP4 production Printscape will also debut in Australia the ST400 Saddle stitcher, described by host Greg Grace of Heidelberg, as the most intelligent piece of finsiihing equipment in the world."
The ST400 will be driven by instructions entered at the prepress stage of job creation, utilising Heidelberg finsihing modules Compustitch, Compufold and Compucut.
The entire production process will be linked in a Prinergy workflow to showcase maximum productivity gains b y the use of advanced manufacturing processes in the printing industry.
Inquiries shouljd be directed to Sandra Katsiris Sandra.Katsiris@ap.heidelberg.com
