Prism Grafix scores two Bennys
Western Australia company, Prism Grafix, continues its run of success taking out two Benny awards.
The Prism Grafix Calendar 2008, Vintage Series which was recently awarded product of excellence in this year's Product of Excellence Awards has just won a Benny in two categories: self promotion and special innovation awards printing.
Raj Vaswani, managing director of Prism Grafix was not completely taken back when he found out. "Given the product I wasn't surprised because we had won awards at the stamping and embossing association of American and the binding association of America so we were always sure we were going to pick up something," he said.
This did not take away the excitement and celebration that came with the news. "It is indeed an honour that Prism Grafix has been bestowed with two Bennys and it is a testament to the excellent work produced by Prism Grafix's team," Vaswani said.
Prism went head to head with 4,200 entries from printing and graphic arts firms around the world. To win at this level also says a lot for the Australian printing industry, according to Vaswani.
"It is good to be recognised all the way from little old Western Australia," he said.
