New HP Designjet T2300 eMFP and T7100 printers help improve design processes and realise business efficiencies.
This new suite of products helps design professionals in the architecture, engineering and construction industries collaborate across multiple locations, streamline processes and reduce costs. It includes:
— The HP Designjet T2300 eMultifunction Printer (eMFP) – the industry’s first web-ready large-format system with scan, print and copy functionality. Designed to match today’s collaborative and mobile work styles, the new system makes it easy to share and manage content with project members around the world.
— HP ePrint & Share – which allows design professionals to automatically create, print, share and manage project files online using desktop or mobile devices.
— The HP Designjet T7100 Printer – a high-speed monochrome and colour printing system with breakthrough low total cost of ownership compared to competing technologies.
“This is much more than a printer, it is a tool to transform design process,” said Christopher Morgan, senior vice president, Graphics Solutions Business, Imaging and Printing Group, HP. “With the HP ePrint platform extended to the technical market, design professionals now can focus on building and executing their ideas, rather than on managing cumbersome design and print processes.”
HP Designjet T2300 eMFP offers web-ready solution for designers
Created for medium and large architecture, engineering and construction firms and enterprise businesses, the HP Designjet T2300 eMFP allows design professionals to easily scan and upload documents to the web and to print drawings wherever needed(1) – from project team meetings at the main office to reviews with clients and even at the construction sites.
In conjunction with the HP Designjet T2300 eMFP, the new HP ePrint & Share platform simplifies the printing process for technical drawings. Available through HP ePrintCenter, an online hub for all HP customers to create a custom printing experience, HP ePrint & Share allows architects to easily locate and access their plans, adjust page layouts, preview print pages and create print-ready files from a single screen. Users also can upload files with a single click while printing is in process to quickly and easily share designs with remote project teams.
“For us, technology is not only a tool to materialise ideas, but an important partner in a creative process that demands a high degree of mobility,” said Matias del Campo, principal, SPAN Architecture & Design. “We are based in Vienna, but our projects are distributed around the world, from construction sites to teaching studios to conferences. The HP Designjet T2300 eMFP and HP ePrint & Share make it possible to print and preview files from anywhere and provide us with an interface between our digitally heavy design techniques, the networking and distribution of information and the physical world.”

Konica Minolta expands its bizhub PRESS range
Konica Minolta Business Solutions Australia has introduced two new products to its bizhub PRESS line-up of colour digital presses: the bizhub PRESS C7000 and C6000, designed to meet the demanding and diverse requirements of the commercial print sector.
The new bizhub PRESS C7000 and C6000 digital colour presses are built upon the company’s flagship bizhub PRESS C8000, designed for light production printing. With a print speed of up to 71 and 60 pages per minute respectively and an impressive maximum input capacity of up to 7,500 sheets, the bizhub PRESS C6000 and C7000 handle maximum monthly volumes of around 330,000 prints with ease.

With the growing bizhub PRESS line of colour digital presses, Konica Minolta is setting a new colour standard in light production printing while also reducing overhead costs. The bizhub PRESS C7000/ C6000 will create extraordinary colour images with 1200dpi resolution utilising automatic Image Density Control (IDC) that ensures consistently outstanding image fidelity over long runs. By employing true 8-bit data compression, Konica Minolta has minimized RIP time while keeping colour production in high gear from start to finish. An air assist paper separation system provides enhanced support for heavy and coated stocks and powerful print control combined with flexible in-line finishing options let users build a system customised to their production environment. The bizhub PRESS C7000/C6000 will integrate with a host of third-party workflow solutions. In another Konica Minolta first, both PRESS systems will be available with the KM developed, IC-601 Professional Colour Image Controller, which was uniquely designed for the high-demand needs of print professionals.
“The expansion of the bizhub PRESS range of colour digital presses further demonstrates our commitment to work alongside our customers, support their growth and meet their rising production printing needs.” said Grant Thomas, Product Manager for the Production Print division at Konica Minolta Business Solutions Australia Pty Ltd. “The new bizhub PRESS C7000 and C6000 digital colour presses are built upon the company’s flagship bizhub PRESS C8000 and offer outstanding image quality and image stability over long print runs, with output comparable to offset litho quality, raising the bar yet again.”
