Quark hits the road with interactive tour
The sessions are designed for customers currently using previous versions of QuarkXPress, along with anyone who has used QuarkXPress in the past and wants information on the latest page layout and design software for multi-channel publishing.
During the one-and-a-half hour sessions, participants will discover new page layout and design features in QuarkXPress 7; from transparency and Photoshop support, through to OpenType, Quark Job Jackets and working collaboratively with Composition Zones.
Joe Bizinger, channel manager, Quark, is hopeful that the five tours will be a success for the company. "We're anticipating that there will be a lot of interest in what we've got," he said. "There seems to be a pent-up demand right now for QuarkXPress."
In addition to QuarkXPress, attendees will also be introduced to Quark Interactive Designer, which provides the ability to add motion, sound and interactivity using traditional print layout designs and resources.
"The shows will give attendees a better understanding of what Quark has to offer," Bizinger said. "We're not a one-product company, we've got quite a lot in the stable and will be showing this off."
The Quark sessions will be held at the following dates/locaions:
