Queensland Awards - Business and Printing Excellence
Competition for both types of awards ran hot with a 30 per cent increase in the number of companies nomination for the business awards. According to Neal McLary Printing Industries regional manager, the industry has taken the new awards to heart and companies are very keen to put their names forward. The judging process over five categories includes site visits and a review of the entrant's economic performance by independent business experts.
Sponsored by the Queensland Government, along with the Currie Group, Heidelberg and Fuji Xerox, the combined awards drew over 600 industry professionals to a gala event.
