Queensland Q&P users get preview of new software

New 1200 Series build generates anticipation with new modules that to drive web connectivity.

About 15 Queensland users of Quote & Print gathered at the Diana Hotel for the annual Queensland User Day. It was an opportunity for them to preview features in the soon to be released version of Quote & Print.

Quote & Print updates its program twice a year so that users who are on support can always keep up to date.

One of the new modules that attracted the most interest was the Q&P Web Companion. This online module allows sales reps to access their Quote & Print data via a wireless connection. For sales reps in the field they can always be up to date with the latest information regarding their clients’ quotes and jobs. They can also check stock levels of all finished material they are holding for their customers.

Another online module that generated considerable interest was the new ON DEMAND PRINTING module of QPONLINE. Already in use by an offset printer and a digital printer, this module lets your customers generate a quote online including freight calculations then upload their print ready pdf files. An order is created in Quote & Print and the job is then ready for printing.

Other new features include the ability to invoice many jobs on the one invoice.

As usual the users enjoyed Quote & Print’s hospitality and the ability to network with other printers outside of the normal office environment.
