QuickPrint is hailed as the world's most advanced method of preparing files for print, allowing users to create, validate, colour manage and deliver files within the one software package. Quickcut intends to maintain its position as the world's most successful provider of graphic arts workflow solutions, and QuickPrint 5 will introduce a number of acclaimed innovations to allow the Aussie business to remain ahead of the pack.

Most importantly, QuickPrint 5 will be the first version of the software to integrate Adobe's PDF Library into its inner workings, the benchmark file format for graphic arts production that eliminates any problems associated with viewing across different platforms.

Also of note are the new validation tools that allow problems to be identified and automatically corrected with a single click, and QuickPrint 5 will continue to draw upon Quickcut's heavily lauded database of global press specifications, enabling it to create files that are ready to run from step one.

Quickcut CEO Grant Schuetrumpf claims his company's software will remain the most comprehensive option for preparing files for print. “We know that QuickPrint 5 is at least two years ahead of any competing solution because of its ability to capture unique printing specifications and guide artwork at its creation,” he says. “The application will not only reduce workloads but guide users through the many pitfalls that plague pre-press production with little or no margin for error.”
