The ambitious rebranding strategy by franchise group Snap is paying off for Snap Braeside, which has upgraded its equipment and moved into bigger premises.

“We've relocated to a larger, state-of-the-art facility with a customer service centre and a sophisticated production operation, as part of the Snap rebrand program,” said Rajesh Prashar, who co-owns Snap Braeside, in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs, with his wife Nandita Prashar.

“We had to expand to meet the growing requirements of business customers and we’ve particularly seen a rapid growth in our website business, thanks to the new branding.  We create websites and domains and we’ve sold a lot of websites since the re-location," he said.

Prashar ran the local Snap franchise for almost ten years at nearby Mordialloc before he and his wife decided that things needed to change.

“We turned off our offset machines and sold them because they were getting old and it would have required a huge investment to continue with offset, and digital is improving all the time," he said.  "We've moved ‘across the street’ to Braeside and we’re now 100% digital.  We’ve purchased new wide format equipment – Canon and Xerox machines – and we’ve really seen our business improve.

“The new Snap Branding has helped us create a modern identity that better reflects the contemporary print and electronic products and services that we offer," said Prashar. "The focus of the business has widened to include design and production of marketing and promotional materials, technical and training manuals and meeting the needs of business customers for meetings, conferences and exhibitions."

Snap Braeside offers services for print, design and websites, including corporate printing, eNewsletters, logo development, banners, posters, plans, promotional materials, binding, mouse mats, coasters and plastic photo ID cards. Wide format printers offer a full range of custom print work, and an in-house graphic designer helps with logo development, custom artwork and brand identity.

Snap Braeside services the growing industrial areas in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne, including Mordialloc, Mentone, Mentone East, Aspendale, Aspendale Gardens, Braeside, Parkdale and Waterways.
