Printing Industries has partnered with the Australian Red Cross to offer members discounts on first aid training, aimed at ensuring workplace safety.
PIAA members can access discounts of between 10 and 35 per cent on Red Cross first aid training courses, as well as the option to organise sessions in the workplace. These courses can be tailored to focus on industry-specific risks that are relevant to staff and management work environments, and are available in-situ at member sites or at any of the 80 training centres Red Cross runs around Australia.
Andrew Macaulay, CEO PIAA, said the Association was proud to offer its members the opportunity for premier training courses in first aid. "The Red Cross is an Australian training icon, and PIAA is delighted to team up and provide members the best in first aid training," said Macaulay. "First aid training can be the difference between life and death, and manufacturing businesses are well placed by ensuring staff are prepared. The partnership offers flexibility and value to PIAA members."
All graduates will receive an official certificate of completion, which will also be added to the Red Cross archive. Income from course fees will support the Red Cross organisation's national and international humanitarian work.
