Sign and graphics franchise company Signwave says a 12 percent jump in September quarter revenue underlines the strength of the local signage industry.
“This continued upward revenue trajectory signals not only our growing capacity as a group but the strength of the signage and graphics industry in Australia,” said Linda Sultmann, GM, Signwave Australia.
“Across the Signwave network, half of the centres have increased sales by more than 10 percent compared with this time last year, with four increasing revenue by over 40 percent,” said Sultmann. “Centres all throughout our franchise, both large and small and across the states, have enjoyed success this year. This bodes well as we push for network growth in 2016.”
In less than two years since Signwave franchisees Leo Baker and Dean Rowland joined with corporate consultant Sultmann to take over the Australian arm of Fastsigns International, Signwave has enjoyed steady growth fuelled by strategic marketing and now has 17 centres across Australia.
“The Signwave centre owners who have achieved the most this year are those that have taken on board the need to develop strong relationships and provide a more consultative approach to clients,” said Rowland, Signwave Australia’s franchise development manager. “A commercial mindset and a willingness to develop strategic relationships are essentially the qualities we are looking for in new franchise partners as we move into expansion.”
The organisation recently relocated to a larger Australian head office and has appointed Peter O’Hearn as franchise business consultant.
