Ricoh sustains green cred for sixth year

Six years of green practice sees Ricoh listed in the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World once more.

Ricoh was the only office automation manufacturer included in this year’s Global 100 and earned its place in the ranking by continuing to modernise work environments while meeting the sustainability needs of its customers and adding real business value. The ranking specifically highlighted Ricoh’s transparent reporting, compared to its peers, when communicating sustainability practices and initiatives.

Les Richardson, managing director of Ricoh Australia (pictured), was thrilled at the news. “It’s highly rewarding to be named for the sixth year in a row as one of the most sustainable companies globally. We are constantly striving to improve our product stewardship and internal processes for the purpose of improving sustainability and lowering environmental impact,” he said.

“This approach allows us to offer customers technologically advanced solutions that reduce our collective environmental footprint throughout the entire product cycle,” he added. “Importantly, our solutions simplify business processes, while reducing the cost of printing and managing documents.”

The top 100 corporations in the world are selected from 1,800 large corporations in all business sectors, based on research and analysis of data provided by Innovest Strategic Value Advisors Inc. in the USA.
