Rima System goes global

Streamlining joint product lines in production processes for press delivery systems, Muller Martini and Rima-System announce cooperative agreement to offer customized solutions to customers.

Muller Martini Australia is excluded from this agreement, as Rima-System products are locally represented through Graph-Pak. Muller Martini will represent Rima-System products overseas through its sales channels from 1 January 2012.

Bruno Müller, CEO of Muller Martini says customers will now be able to choose “their ideal and individual solution from the extensive product line offered by the two market leaders. This means users can benefit from the most efficient solution in each case – e.g. a Newsveyor conveyor system from Muller Martini paired with a compensating stacker and palletizing robot from Rima-System.”

Coordinated product lines include areas of conveying, cutting, stack production, bundle production and roll production.

Dr. Axel B. Tübke, CEO of Rima-System says the partnership is much more than a cooperation agreement. “It is a commitment to finding the best solution for the customer, which is defined independently of the manufacturer label and must be optimally adapted to the respective application.”

Tom Ralph, managing director of Graph-Pak says it has been reassured of its premier distribution point in Australia with a renewed five year supplier arrangement. “We are pretty excited about the cooperation between Rima-System, our premium brand, and another market leader in the graphic industry Muller Martini.

“Possible synergies for Australia are not only in technology but might also show itself on the service side. We are looking forward to build on our past successes and to be able to offer our customers even better technology and support in the future.”

Ralph says on a day-to-day basis business will be as usual but at the backend an even stronger team support our customers. “Our success has been constant, winning five from five large post press deals, installing a lot of machinery and the latest high tech robotics palletising systems.

"I know the sun will keep shining on us as its not only the win of the sale ‘its the back up and support that follows’ and we plan to continue to grow the current investments in support.”
