Roland DG Academy training dates announced

Digital wide format solutions supplier Roland DG Australia has announced the dates for its training course, VersaWorks: Beyond the Basics.

The course was developed to improve users’ knowledge of Roland DG’s dedicated rip software. Last year more than 70 students were accredited in nine sessions held across Australia.

The courses are run by Roland DG trainers. Students will learn on Roland-supplied computers in classes of eight or less, with the trainer working closely with students to develop their skills and knowledge of VersaWorks. The main areas covered in the course are:

  • colour management;
  • printer calibration, set up, and maintenance;
  • settings and features including variable data, custom cut, step, and repeat, and special colour plate generation;
  • advanced production techniques and tips; and
  • workflow automation.
