The Trade Training Centre, at the year 11 and 12 Catholic Regional College, Sydenham, Victoria, will operate business units where students can learn a practical trade in a real-life business environment. A feature of the Trade Training Centre will be the Roland Print & Design Centre where students can gain experience in the signage and graphics arts industry.
CRC Sydenham Principal, Brendan Watson, has welcomed the partnership. "Roland and Conect's generous involvement in this exciting educational initiative cements a vital link between the school and the signage industry," Watson said.

“Catholic Regional College Sydenham is a progressive and innovative school and we are excited to partner with them to give the students access to the very best equipment to learn the skills needed to excel when they enter the workforce," said John Wall, sales and marketing manager at Roland DG.
A spokesperson from the Trade Training Centre said that currently, a total of eight students are doing Cert II and 16 VCAL students as their second elective for a few hours a week.
