oOh!media has won a major tender with the South Australian government for 40 large format billboards in and around Adelaide.
Noel Cook, group manager road at oOh!media, said the contract would enable the company to continue delivering on its existing billboards, as well as upgrade key locations to digital. “Continuing this contract with the SA Government demonstrates our success and proven capabilities in fostering long-term relationships with government partners. It also reinforces our reputation as a trusted commercial partner with governments across NSW, Victoria, Queensland and SA.
“The 40 billboards are widely spread across Adelaide and some of the most desirable locations are earmarked for conversion to digital. This is the biggest single contract of large format billboards in Adelaide. The win solidifies oOh!’s market-leading position in Adelaide and is indicative of our investment plans and our digital strategy," Cook said.
oOh!media has held the South Australian contract since its acquisition of Russell Ads in the early 2000s, and is now the largest-reaching digital Out Of Home network in Adelaide’s CBD. It recently converted a prominent billboard at the intersection of West Terrace and Franklin Street overlooking Sir Donald Bradman Drive to digital, which has attracted advertisers including Flinders University, Hyundai, Samsung, and the RAA.
