Screen breaks the news with PrintWorks Post

Screen Truepress Jet 520CP to produce PrintWorks Post newspaper live at next week’s exhibition where it makes its Australian debut.

To coincide with its first live showing at an Australian tradeshow, Screen has cooperated with PrintWorks organisers GASAA, to produce the PrintWorks Post, a mock-up newspaper that will be printed live on the Screen stand

Peter Scott, Screen’s north region sales manager, added that the press would print a range of other work on the stand.  “We will also be printing book, transactional and other files, demonstrating the versatility of the Truepress Jet 520CP to print assorted work and variable data without the need for extensive make-ready in-between jobs,” he said.

PrintWorks organiser and GASAA executive director, Garry Knespal, believes the paper will prove popular. “Having the TruePress Jet 520CP running at the PrintWorks Expo is a great move by Screen and good news for the industry,” he said.

“It will be the first public showing of a TPJ520 in our region and will definitely be a highlight of the co-located print, display and retail shows at Darling Harbour.”
