Printing Industries has detailed its remarkable staff turnover since the arrival of new CEO Jason Allen earlier this year. But the roster of changes is so extensive that the association itself seems to be having trouble keeping up, omitting several prominent names from its list.
In detailing the names that are no longer with the Association under the new regime at least one state manager and the national marketing communications director were left off. Paul Nieuwhof, general manager Western Australia, left at the PICA awards in October, while Joe Kowalewski, national communications director was dismissed in the same month. Both were 20 year plus employees. They followed Jenny Berry, membership services for Victoria & Tasmania in September. When linked with the sudden resignation last month of Peter Mansfield, general manager South Australia, the departures represent a major sea change at a senior level for the organisation.
In the innocuous listing of staff changes in the latest National NewsPrint newsletter, there is no hint of the drama that has accompanied some of the sudden departures.
