Seasons Greetings and a word of caution from the team at Quote and Print
We wish all our users a Happy Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous New Year.
But before we go, a word to make sure you have a secure business break too.
When shutting down your office over Christmas make sure you have two backups of your Quote & Print data. Store one in your office away from your file server and store the second offsite.
If you are running the Quote & Print Payroll remember to vary the payroll periods if you are paying your staff for multiple weeks. This will mean the tax and leave adjustments will be calculated correctly.
You will also need to check the number of pay periods in the year for the week your pays are done to enable employees to pay extra tax to cover for 53 weeks if applicable.
For any employees who have a Tax Variation, a new variation should be provided by the ATO each year. It is the employer’s responsibility. If a variation is no longer valid then the employee’s tax scale should be changed so tax is correct.
To all the printers who bought or upgraded their Quote & Print Systems this year we thank you for your support. The Quote & Print Team will be enjoying a well earned break after Christmas and will return to work refreshed and ready for another year of enhancing Quote & Print. We have a number of exciting new developments in the pipeline and will be releasing these at PrintEx07.
Enjoy your Christmas Break.
