Nothing delivers like print is the message behind the latest See Me printing and paper industry promotion.

The book is hailed as the first of its kind and the result of five different companies from five different industries: CPI, Armstrong Miller & McLaren, Sydney Allen Printers, Allkotes and Watermarx Graphics, each joining forces to contribute to the design, stock selection, print, embellishment and coating of the book.

"See Me is an example of what can be achieved with just five enthusiastic companied combining their expertise to a given cause: to improve the perception of paper and print as a communication medium," said David Bull, director of CPI Group.

See Me uses ten different paper substrates, seven embellishments, seven coating applications, printed four-colour process, plus nine PMS colours with spot and gloss machine varnish throughout, French-folded and perfect bound using PUR glue.

Bull said that See Me is a vital marketing tool for an industry that often does not market itself to its full capacity. "It's an example of what could happen if all the industry got together to market itself," he said.  "There are things in See Me that you just can't achieve through online or on a disk."
