Sign A Rama installs Roland VersaCAMM VS-640

A change might be as good as a holiday, but Sydney business, Sign A Rama in Miranda got both when it purchased a new Roland VersaCAMM VS-640.

The VS-640, which went on display for the first time in the world at the Sign A Rama expo on the Gold Coast in February, created a lot of interest according to John Wall, sales and marketing manager, Roland DG. “The VS-640 was a revolutionary new product for Roland DG with the brand new head technology and many other new features not seen in previous Roland printers,” he said.

“This release was always going to generate a lot of interest, and the release at the Sign A Rama Expo Gold Coast confirmed this with several orders being placed at the show and many more enquiries about the machine.”

Ron Eastman of Sign A Rama Miranda said that as part of the purchase, he also won an overseas holiday. “Roland DG ran a competition exclusive to the Sign A Rama Expo to win a trip to Hawaii when you purchased a new VS-640,” he said. “We were very interested in the machine and so placed an order, but we never really expected to win the trip and be on our way to Hawaii!”

Lyn Eastman is equally excited about both the trip and the new VS-640. “The machine is fantastic, we are especially pleased with the backlits. We have also done some prints for retractables using a polyester film and the quality of the print is just so good,” she said.
