Signage industry the go for new Signwave owners
Signwave can produce all types of signage, extending from banners to vehicle graphics to backlit displays, and there are over 19 Signwave stores throughout Australia. John Fereday is taking over an outlet in Balmain, inspired by potential growth in the signage industry, while Ivan Finlay aims with his new Hornsby outlet to assist business with improving their image.
Fereday has left his career as a financial controller with his purchase of the Balmain outlet, claiming he has fulfilled a personal ambition to own a business. “I think the sign industry is a strong industry for growth and I saw a lot of potential in the Balmain store,” he said.
Finlay is a former partner and director of advertising agency Finlay Preece Alliance, and will put his 20 years experience in marketing and advertising to full use at his new Signwave store in Hornsby. He points to the successful franchise model of the company as the motivation for the purchase.
“Signwave is professionally run and I was extremely impressed with the level of back-up and support the franchise offered,” he says. “Signwave has a great corporate image, is a professionally run organisation and the systems they have in place are proven.”
