The new issue of Print 21 magazine is a perfect example of the results that can be achieved with high quality paper, according to Tony Bertrand, national sales & marketing manager for BJ Ball.
“The Silk-HD is the benchmark coated art paper and the imagery tends to jump out on the page, which lifts the whole publication,” says Bertrand. “It’s a really good example of how investing in print can reap benefits.”
“Silk-HD is Japanese made and it’s probably the only true A2+ triple-coated product. Most paper these days is either double or single coated. It’s very consistent in terms of quality, in the look and feel and the way it performs and, in fact, it's the consistency of the product that sets it apart.
“It’s also a very versatile paper and can be printed on offset and digital. There’s no downtime on the machinery and very little, if any, issues with performance.
"We’ve had a fantastic response from customers who use it. It’s been in the marketplace for 30 years now and once our customers get onto Silk-HD, they don’t get off. They love running it because it’s trouble free and because of how well it lifts the images."
The final 2016 issue of Print21 rolled off a Komori Lithrone G40P HUV offset press last week at Hero Print’s Alexandria facility in Sydney and is now being distributed.
It’s also available online.
