Smith moves into former TLC premises
Perfectly Bound takes over the factory premises in Silverwater bringing to an end the drawn out liquidation saga of the previous occupants.
Having bought most of the TLC equipment from the liquidator, Smith is perfectly placed to enter the highly competitive Sydney finishing market against the likes of Allkotes and Avon Graphics. He is aided by having Samantha Rogers, former owner of TLC working as a consultant to the business.
Perfectly Bound has tracked across the river from its Rydalmere premises transferring equipment in this traditionally quiet period of the year. The new premises are larger than the previous site.
“We’ll be up and running by Friday and it’s looking good. The business is running and the old space was just too small. The new factory means that we can offer a range of new services and provide more of a one-stop shop for customers,” said Smith.
Integrating new services into its offering Perfectly Bound is now saying it will be able to provide customers with a range that includes celoglazing, all-over UV varnishing, spot UV varnishing, scratchies, soft touch celloglazing and scratch resistant celloglazing.
This is in addition to its previous finishing services perfect & burst binding, wire binding, collating, drilling, saddle, and side & corner stitching.
