Snap decision for new Geelong owners

After ten years growing Snap Geelong, Paul Smart recently sold the business to married couple Alvaro Revelo and Libby Pollard.

Smart is ready to head into the attractive lifestyle of semi-retirement after cultivating Snap Geelong for the last decade.

Taking over the business on 1 March, Revelo (pictured) and Pollard have had a busy first few months networking within the local business community and meeting existing customers.

Originally from Ecuador in South America and new to the printing industry, Revelo is looking forward to the challenges of being a small business owner along with learning more about printing.

“I’m still in a learning curve as I’ve come from the tourism industry and getting into this has been very exciting,” he said, adding that he has received great support from Snap, the previous owner and his team of staff.

Pollard, whose background is in the design and print industry, is now in charge of marketing. Prior to this role, she spent the last ten years managing design and print solutions for corporate and government clients in both Australia and the UK, including the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games.
