Snap franchise sheds printing from name

Name change sees Snap franchise drop “printing” from its title.

According to CEO Grant Vernon, (pictured) the organisation has grown beyond solely
printing and copying, so it made sense to shorten the name to reflect that.

“For some time Snap has provided related professional services such as design as well as advertising and marketing advice,” said Vernon.

“We have found our customers are valuing these additional services as much
as the printing side of our service. We wanted our logo and position to reflect the reality – which is that we do more than just printing.”

Snap started out as the Imperial Printing Company in 1903 and expanded outside of Australia into New Zealand, China and Ireland in the 90s.
