Snap Printing leaps to the rescue
The computer maintenance subscription service is the brainchild of Peter Spencer, with eight of the mobile units already operating in Perth. While the just-opened Scream Saver in Norwest represents the first chance for Sydneysiders to solve all of their IT hassles at a one-stop location, another outlet will soon be opened inside the Snap Printing offices in North Ryde.
Snap Printing claims there is a significant demand for a franchise like Scream Savers, emphasising recent figures the Australian Bureau of Statistics which show that 80 per cent of all small companies rely on computers with internet access in order to conduct their business.
Snap Printing chief executive Grant Vernon claims that Scream Savers was fired up with the direct goal of filling the void of IT support for small businesses. “Snap Printing has its finger on the pulse of small business, and we recognised that thousands of them are struggling without any real computer or technology support.”
“So many just limp along, putting up with long-standing problems and struggling with spam and viruses. Scream Savers is designed to fill this void with a fast, helpful computer support service that is available over the phone or on site,” he says.
