Snap reaps rewards of new Ricoh Pro 1107EX
Installation of a new Ricoh Pro 1107EX allows Snap Printing in Clarence Street, Sydney to boost productivity.
Nisan Krimhand, Snap Sydney, Clarence Street’s owner, was looking for a black and white production printer as a back-up for its growing demand of incoming print work, but didn’t initially consider Ricoh as a vendor. A demonstration of the press soon changed that.
Snap Sydney, Clarence Street isnow using the Ricoh Pro 1107EX as its primary mono print production workhorse, generating around half-a-million prints every month. According to Krimhand, the device’s key operational uses: printing, scanning, stapling and hole drilling, have contributed savings in time and cost.

The company claims that in finishing, it has achieved eight hours a week in savings, as a large amount of work Snap produces is for corporate training organisations that require hole drilling for insertion into training manuals.
“All the efficiencies we’ve now gained – time savings, print quality, integrated scan-to-print workflow and ease of management – are being passed on directly to our clients. And those are efficiencies that an operator in the on-demand print business must deliver,” Krimhand said.
