PacPrint chairman Adrian Fleming welcomed Print21 PacPrint Escape prize-winners Celeste and Brent Halliday of Broome, WA signage company BK Signs to the Melbourne Convention Centre for day two of the show.

"It's so exciting and a dream come true," says Celeste, who won the prize - courtesy of organisers Visual Connections Australia and the PIAA - for her entry describing in 30 words or less why she wanted to see the show.

Celeste and husband Brent left home in Broome at 8am on Tuesday morning and didn't arrive at their hotel in Melbourne until 8.30pm on Tuesday night.

The lucky winners, who run BK Signs together, will now get to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary during PacPrint, where they’re enjoying three nights at the Hilton and will attend the National Print Awards.

“I’ve never been to Melbourne so I'm really looking forward to it," says Celeste. Brent is a trade show veteran who has attended a couple of shows in Brisbane and the FESPA event in Amsterdam.

They're both eager to see the latest technology on show at PacPrint 2017. “We’ve been really busy with the business and we’re looking to grow so we’re very eager to talk to people about the best signage options for us," says Celeste.

BK Signs and Promotions,a registered member of the Sign & Graphics Association of Australia, was established in 1994 to service the Kimberley and Pilbara regions of Western Australia.
