Solid numbers for Melbourne print Expo
Stands are full and banners have been hung as exhibitors eagerly await the opening of PrintCom Expo 2011 tomorrow, co-located with Visual Impact Image Expo (VIIE), POPAI Marketing at Retail Expo and Retail Expo and Conference.
According to Garry Knespal, executive officer of GASAA, around 5,000 people are expected to attend the shows from combined pre-registration numbers. “I think those numbers will hold if not be exceeded, and if any locals haven’t registered yet they are welcome to turn up on the day. This will be Melbourne’s time to shine.
“All exhibitors are rearing to go and a few late arrivals make for a packed house. The Retail Expo is looking bright and colourful and Visual Impact is looking impressive as ever. PrintCom is well positioned in the middle of the two shows, so we are going to have a high traffic area” he says.
Doors open at 10am tomorrow at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Over 175 trade exhibitors from the display print and retail marketing industries will demonstrate the latest industry developments.
