Six state finalists have been named in this year’s inaugural Konica Minolta National Specialised Print Awards that celebrate excellence in print.
After receiving 230 entries produced on Konica Minolta digital presses, the following state finalists were selected by Konica Minolta’s Specialised Print Group:
ACT: Elect Printing – “House Advert Book”
NSW: Cosmo Print - “Australia Council annual report 2015- 2016”
SA: Ink on Paper – “Tastemaster Booklet”
QLD: TJ's eprint – “Cactus & Hill Capability Statement”
VIC: Purple Press – “Photo Book Panorama”
WA: Images on Paper Pty Ltd – “STEP SAFARI”
A four-person judging panel - Kellie Northwood of Two Sides Australia; Mark Gowing, Mark Gowing Design; Darrell John, Konica Minolta; and Anthony Parnemann, EFI – will choose the national winner who receives a $10,000 advertising package.
“It’s a great initiative from Konica Minolta to celebrate its customers’ work and the entries are amazing and high calibre, across a broad range of digital presses,” says Northwood. “Any opportunity in our industry to celebrate excellence is a good opportunity. Print marketing is highly innovative and creative and with the technology we now have there are so many more options to embellish and add value.”
The six state finalists will be invited to attend the inaugural awards event on Thursday 23rd February at SoHo, Jones Bay Wharf in Sydney. Canapés and refreshments will be provided. Dress code: Cocktail. RSVP here.
