Spicers is re-issuing its new Quick Smart Paper sampler showcasing its digital paper range following overwhelming demand for the sampler from printers and designers.
The sampler includes leading brands such as Monza, Splendorgel, Pacesetter and Sirio among others, with a couple of new additions since the last release.
“At Spicers, we aim to supply an extensive range of paper for all digital printing requirements including coated, uncoated, self-adhesive, specialty and synthetic options,” says Roger Rankine, Spicers national sales manager – Digital Media. “We are continually moving to keep pace with the digital space so we can provide the most innovative solutions for our customers."
Designed as a quick reference guide for printed samples as well as technical and environmental specifications, both HP Indigo and Toner based printers were used to create the sampler.
Spicers is also launching Fredrigoni’s new Ispira 360gsm board, an ECF pure cellulose pulp product, with a smooth double-sided velvet-like finish, available in red, white and black.
The company says Ispira’s surface is a water-based transparent coating, giving it the feel of a paper rather than a plastic.
It is printer friendly and suitable for offset and digital printing, and its high colour definition negates the need to use UV inks. However, Spicers recommends the use of oxidizing inks with the substrate.
Spicers’ sampler – along with a host of other products – will be on show at PacPrint 2013, on Stand 4218, Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, Melbourne, 21-25 May 2013.
