Spot Press upgrades colour capability with QuadTech

According to Dimitri Georgantzakos, technology manager of Spot Press, the range of Quad Tech products – Register Guidance, Ribbon Control and Data Central integrated through the QuadTech ICON platform – delivers the extra production enhancement required to take on more colour work without breaking the bank.

“There has been a dramatic increase in color content in newspapers and magazines over the past few years. Our aim was to enhance colour capacity while still delivering the finished product to our customers within the same time frame. Doing this without a significant increase in costs is vital in our competitive market. Investing in the QuadTech press controls means that we can achieve this.”

Georgantzakos predicts that the equipment will significantly enhance his company’s productivity and profitability: “The QuadTech equipment will assist in improving our make-ready times and reduce our waste dramatically. The colour register controls will also save us money by increasing customer satisfaction, reducing reimbursements and the need for reprints.”
