Steve Brown leads MAN Ferrostaal digital print division
Appointment of former Canon salesman, Steve Brown, coincides with MAN Ferrostaal’s move into reselling Canon digital production printers.
The agreement sees MAN Ferrostaal reselling and servicing Canon’s digital production print range, including the imagePRESS C7000VP, C6000 and its monochrome imagePRESS 1110, 1125 and 1135 series and represents MAN Ferrostaal’s first step into the provision of digital print technology.
According to Craig Manson, senior general manager, marketing at Canon, the agreement is part of the company’s intention to broaden its channel to market in order to boost sales growth and customer service. Canon will continue to sell through its existing direct sales channel and provide support through Canon service technicians.
“Earlier this year we set about building a new channel-focused go-to-market model,” Manson explained. “As the digital print market expands we want our technologies available to more people in more places.”

In his new role, Brown will be responsible for developing and expanding the digital print business as well as continuing to provide products and services to the printing industry.
“I am excited to be joining MAN Ferrostaal,” Brown said. “This unique opportunity allows me to combine my passion for Canon products and compliment them with MAN Ferrostaal workflow, finishing and services.”
