Still some places left in next GAMAA Workshops
The workshop, Creative Leadership & Innovation will once again blend GAMAA's unique mix of leadership exploration, theatricality, personal coaching and self-awareness techniques to provide participants with a distinctive learning experience.
GAMAA Education Manager Sam Crock said the GAMAA Leadership workshop programme, now in its fourth year, is attracting participants eager to embrace the dynamic environment created by these residential workshops.
"Participants find the programme highly challenging and rewarding. We are attracting a range of people from the printing and graphic media industries creating a robust and diverse group," she said.
"In the latest workshop held in May, participants especially identified with the work around operational excellence, understanding their customers needs and how to manage the Human Element within their organisation."
Ms. Crock explained that there is a very strong thread through all of the GAMAA workshops in developing the skills of 'coaching'. "All group participants identify the need to attain these skills to achieve better relationships with both their internal and external clients."
Attending the May Workshop, Pursuing Business Excellence, Neil Rose from Bottcher got a lot out of the programme: “I think what sets a GAMAA workshop apart from conventional management training seminars is that you are taken totally out of your comfort zone and encouraged to let loose … at the end of it all, you feel as if you are part of something special that will always stay with you.
“The workshop made me realise on a number of levels what can be achieved professionally amongst my peers, and also on a personal level in all areas of my life. I have taken some initiatives back to my workplace from the workshop. Leadership is vital to any organisation if it is to remain competitive and ahead of the competition. I'm keen to participate in another workshop.”
