Stream Solutions achieve mission for Triple Care Farm
Delegates at the recent Stream Solutions suppliers' conference raise $20,000 for Mission Australia's Triple Care Farm.
Warren Holt, manager of Triple Care Farm in the Southern Highlands was a guest speaker at the conference and spoke about the farm's work in helping youth overcome drug and alcohol addiction.
Stream has been supporting Triple Care Farm for four years. "Every now and then, we need to look at life through the eyes of someone less fortunate then ourselves to truly appreciate what we have. I was deeply moved by their stories," said Stream's general manager, Andrew Price.
This money will contribute to Triple Care Farm rehabilitating 80 young people a year, according to Sarah Linnegar or corporate and community partnerships.
"These young people are then able to work through their current circumstances and move forward with their lives," she said.
"This includes finding stable accommodation, participating in training and education, securing employment and re-engaging with their communities."
Linnegar praised the result achieved between the two organisations. "I hope we can continue to build out relationship with Stream Solutions in the future," she said.
Conference organiser, Geoff Brennan, was thrilled by the level of support from those at the event. "It's a tribute to the attendees," he said.
Praising the support of the delegates, Price said, "The generosity of these printers doesn't surprise me. I've known many of them for several years and am always inspired by their generosity".
