Stream suppliers swim up to Sunshine Coast
Stream Solution's suppliers get ready to head to the Sunshine Coast for its annual conference.
According to Geoff Brennan, manager of strategic sourcing, more than 70 attendees are expected on Friday's strategy day which features speakers from Stream, Canon, National Australia Bank, Victorian Government, PaperlinX, GASAA and Toll Australia Group.
He believes that one of the Strategy Day highlights will be David de Garis, director and senior economist with the NAB who will deliver a presentation on the 'outlook for the economy and markets' and is keen to answer questions from the delegates.
Brennan, who organises the conference, says that the annual event is shaping up nicely and attendees are looking forward to hitting the Sunshine Coast. “The new location will be a breath of fresh air for the event after five years on the Gold Coast. It will be a real Stream day with nine of the 12 scheduled presenters being senior Streamers delivering some good subject matter,” he said.
"Garry Knespal and the committee of GASAA deserve a special thanks for
all the hard work they have put into securing David as one of the key speakers on the day.”
Suppliers will also have the chance to talk with key Stream staff, Canon representatives, GASAA and paper merchants during the increasingly popular breakout sessions before the conference concludes with the gala dinner where the Stream Suppliers of the Year will be announced.
Print 21’s online editor, Mitchell Jordan, is attending this year's conference and will provide an exclusive, fly-on-the-wall account of the event.
