Superwide printers get security

Protection for EFI VUTEk printers is a hot topic at Visual Impact’s IMEDIA stand as the group launches its Superwide Service Advantage (SSA) agreement for new clients.
According to group manager, Chris Lewis-Williams, the all-inclusive opt-in service contract covers on-site preventive and emergency service and includes special provisions for maintenance, repair training and parts replacement.

“SSA maximizes uptime and makes it easier to predict service and maintenance costs year after year,” he says.

The EFI Rastek H652 wideformat printer is IMEDIA’s showcase model at this year’s Visual Impact Image Expo. It is suitable for an entry-level to mid-range quick print, graphic arts, production or print shop where image quality and speed are critical to meeting customers’ demands.

Simon Trytell, EFI’s inkjet sales development manager, predicts a strong interest in both the Rastek H652 and EFI’s superwide VUTEk range due to a high rate of return. The printer pays for itself with only a few hours use a day.

“There are plenty of profitable growth opportunities for companies wanting to expand into new areas. With the exciting addition of the IMEDIA SSA service plan, there has never been a better time to move up to an EFI printer,” he says.

Installed on the Rastek H652 is EFI’s Fiery XF 4.5.1 advanced RIP solution for inkjet production printing, to increase control of the colour supply chain.
