Epson is broadening its distribution partnership with Synnex Australia adding the Epson SureColor T Series range of high-speed large format printers to the Melbourne-headquartered information and communications technology distributor.

The new deal comes hot on the heels of Epson's appointment in July of Neopost Australia (formerly GBC Australia) as a national reseller of its SureColor S Series eco-solvent printers.

“We are very pleased to have the Synnex Imaging and Printing Product Management team working with us on our T Series printers in these specialised market segments,” said Craig Heckenberg (pictured), business unit manager for Epson Australia.
“Epson and Synnex are long term partners with a proven track record in making a wide range of Epson printing solutions available to the Australian market.

"We're looking forward to their support to help us grow this important segment of the large format printing market,” he said.

Synnex Australia is a fully-owned subsidiary of the Synnex Group, with its corporate home base in Fremont California, a business process services company and distributor of technology by OEM suppliers to more than 20,000 resellers globally. Synnex claims itself as the largest information and communications technology (ICT) distributor in Australia and the Asia Pacific region.

Kee Ong, Synnex Australia CEO, welcomed the addition of the Epson SureColor T series to its range for customers at Synnex.

“Our extensive reseller network can facilitate penetration into specialised printing markets for Epson," sad Kee. "All our resellers are backed by Synnex’s comprehensive infrastructure, knowledgeable support and superior services. These enable our resellers with the right expertise and right product to advise their customers on specialised printing requirements.

“Extending the partnership proves the existing value created by this long term relationship between Epson and Synnex is beneficial to our resellers," he said. “Synnex is working closely with Epson to ensure the Just-In-Time availability of these cost-effective, high-speed, large-format, colour printers to our resellers through a well planned and executed go-to-market strategy."

For Epson, the 44 inch SureColor SC-T7000, 36 inch SC-T5000 and 24 inch SC-T3000 offer a combination of precision, performance and value with water resistant pigment inks, class leading print speeds and extremely low running costs.

Designed for the production of plans, drawings, presentations, maps, and short run posters, they are compact, fast and flexible with low power consumption and reduced running costs.
