Techsage releases a new generation Spinjet

Digital proofing specialists DES are pleased to announce the latest high speed imposition proofing device from Techsage- the Spinjet 4000.

Enabling automatic printing of double sided imposition proofs on the new HP Designjet 4000, the Spinjet 4000, boasts a range of new features designed to improve productivity.

Working up to 2.2 times faster than the Spinjet 5500, and with a higher resolution, the Spinjet 4000 enters the market as a perfect application for imposition proofing.

A new feature of the Spinjet 4000 is its ability to handle heavier media, allowing production of double sided banners opening up new opportunities for the device in the signage and display market.

Print widths are anything up to 42” and print length can be 4000mm when running out banners or signage. Efficient workflows can be achieved as the Spinjet offers fully automatic front-to-back imposition/ prints on one sheet and roll-to-sheet loading and delivery system.

Imposition proofing has never been so good- with 4 colour inks and the option of four different print modes, including max speed, production, productivity and quality users are given real control over the proofs they are producing.

Another smart feature is the ability to pre-check the complete imposition, therefore reducing material and plate costs.

Along with the release of the Spinjet 4000, Techsage have announced new operating software SPINFLOW V3.X. The new software promotes greater accuracy and usability than ever before. Current Spinjet users can upgrade their current version to Spinflow V3 by contacting DES.
