The Currie roadshow rodeo rolls across the Nullarbor Plains

The Currie Group's Colour Express Roadshow continues to roll out across the country. In late February it tackles the daunting Nullabor Plains to bring the latest in digital graphic arts technology to graphic arts professionals in Western Australia.

The massive pantech in its distinctive Currie livery will be parked outside of the Burswood Casino between the 22nd and 26th February, during the Snap Printing National Convention, and will be stocked up with a diverse range of Currie's graphic arts equipment. Showcased in particular will be the HP's latest Indigo Digital presses, as well as a suite of Horizon finishing equipment.

The HP Indigo presses are recognised as the industry benchmark for their high-quality colour print, with the use of liquid electro ink finally allowing digital print to match the quality of offset production. Coupled with the Horizon finishing equipment, visitors to the Colour Express truck will see how they can move their entire digital production workflow back into the factory.

The Western Australian experience

The Currie Colour Express changes its equipment fit-out to suit each different destination, and on Western Australian leg of the tour the truck will be featuring:

  • an Indigo 5000 Press
  • a Horizon BQ-270 Binder
  • a Horizon HT-30 Trimmer
  • a Horizon PF-P330 Folder
  • a Plastikoil PBS-ECI combo
  • a Plastikoil PBS Roll-A-Coil
  • a Nagano Auto Cutter.
