The PM 52 Road show arrives in Perth

The first show which started in Perth proved to be a success, demonstrating to customers the reliable and affordable capabilities of the new PM 52.

Flexible and high-tech on the one hand, affordable and practical on the other. This press meets all requirements by combining a broad spectrum of printing stock, a sturdy and reliable design and a clearly conceived direct operating concept

Here's what some customers had to say about the introductory show held in Perth.

The machine is very impressive. When you compare what it does to a Speedmaster of the same size, I couldn't fault it and it's a very practical machine for the market we are in.

As for the presentation, I couldn't fault that either. It was concise, informative and didn't take up too much of my time which in business today is important.

I was particularly impressed with the speed of the press. The press's handling of the NCR paper (carbonless) was very impressive, running at high speed without jamming.

And again . . .

I was impressed with the make-ready speed and also the oscillating rollers . . . in fact I was pretty impressed all round, but if I had to pick one thing that stood out, it is the speed of press.

I think the thing with the added features on the PM52, is that it fills the gap for those who can't quite warrant to spend the money on the Speedmaster, but who want to increase productivity.

As an initial contact to see what the press can do, the roadshow provided a good format. Various substrates were put through the press which worked well - NCR's to board, 60gsm through to 240gsm - that showed me how quick make-ready is on this press and how fast it is.
