This week’s movement in the printing industry sees industry professionals joining the ranks two-by-two with IPMG’s non-print strategy creating two new positions for executives and HP expanding its GSB team by two, while Starleaton adds two new Victorian branch managers.
IPMG creates two new roles for non-print strategy
Promoting its expanded cross-media capabilities, IPMG Australia appoints new digital chief strategy officer and senior marketing executive.
Stephen Anstice, CEO of IPMG says it continues to have a strong reputation in “both print and digital, where we offer the most diverse and comprehensive set of capabilities in Australia, through a portfolio of specialist companies. Mei’s appointment will improve the visibility of our entire portfolio’s breadth and depth of expertise to both existing and new clients.”
Benoit Droulez has been appointed to the role of digital chief strategy officer to drive the growth of IPMG’s digital capabilities and Mei Koon to the role of senior marketing executive to drive the group’s brand and marketing communications strategy.
David Burkett, CEO of IPMG Digital says its platform businesses has experienced “strong growth over the years, both in Australia and internationally. This is an area of increasing importance to clients to be able to effectively and cohesively communicate with their target audiences across a diverse range of digital channels.”
HP adds two to GSB
HP Graphic Arts South Pacific expands its Graphics Solutions Business (GSB) with two new members joining the GSB Large Format Printing Design Team.
Based in Sydney, Steve Trang (pictured) will work with customers across Australia and
New Zealand on market development for the Designjet technical and graphics hardware business.
From Melbourne, Grant Ilsley will lead HP’s focus on large format printing supplies and reprographics, working with key channel partners to grow the market.
Shane Lucas, director HP Graphic Arts South Pacific says by expanding its GSB team “we are able to deliver an even better service to our existing customer base and to also grow the business.”
Two new faces at Starleaton’s Victorian branch
Starleaton continues to grow its Port Melbourne offices with the
appointment of two new account managers.
New Victorian account managers, Munier Schilling (pictured) has over 28 years of experience in the printing and allied trades, while Alan Bower has 25 plus years experience in the information management, storage and IT industries.
Campbell Hughes, national sales manager for Starleaton says several new faces have been added to the team this year and “all are experienced and customer-focused like Munier and Alan. They share Starleaton’s corporate philosophy of the best service levels, close partnerships with customers and going the extra mile to help our wide format, signage and display clients succeed.”
GMG Worldwide appoints new MD
Ian Scott has been appointed as managing director of GMG Worldwide following the departure of CEO Paul Willems who has decided to dedicate himself to new professional challenges.
Scott will be working closely together with GMG’s owners and managing directors, Joerg and Robert Weihing, in continuing the company’s on-going growth plan and product development strategy.
