This week’s movement in the printing industry sees Yoong Lee join Roland DG Australia plus DES’ recruitment of Supply One’s logistics manager Bob McIntyre.
Applications guru joins Roland DG
Roland DG Australia expands it core team with the appointment of Yoong Lee, in the newly created role of Applications Development Manager.
Accordin to Roland DG sales director, John Wall, with his vast experience in
consumables and textiles Yoong will strengthen the Roland DG team. “He will also help to develop some unique applications based on the Roland product range."
Yoong (pictured) joins Roland following four years as Anitech’s consumables business division BDM where he set up several product lines.
DES appoints Bob McIntyre for display market
Following the fall of Supply One, former logistics manager Bob McIntyre has joined DES as its new Display Graphics Media Product Manager.
With the recent distribution partnership between DES and MACtac, McIntyre will be responsible for the development of DES’s market share in the display sector of the graphics industry, focusing on the range of MACtac products.
He has been recruited for his extensive experience with the MACtac range of products, which will be pivotal in expanding DES’s exposure to the sign, display, POP and billboard markets.
McIntyre (pictured) is delighted to take on the responsibility of his role. “DES has a deserved reputation as a leader in the graphics industry, and I’m sure we can provide not just the high quality MACtac products already well
accepted in Australia, but exceptional service and support for those products to all our customers,” he says.
DES expects to announce several new staff appointments in the future as it grows its share of this burgeoning market.
