Amanda takes Fuji Xerox on the path to sustainability
Fuji Xerox's dedication towards helping the environment lured Amanda Keogh (pictured) to take on the position as manager of environment and sustainability.
"Fuji Xerox is at a very exciting stage," she said. "It has an excellent track record in environmental performance and is already dealing to many of the other dimensions of sustainability; I look forward to helping drive this initiative."
Joining Fuji Xerox three months, Amanda has witnessed the continual growth of environmental practices, which she is eager to continue. "I hope to help the company build on that well-earned reputation and to further broaden their focus to engage with other dimensions of sustainability," she said.
"Corporate sustainability is all about seizing the opportunity in sustainable challenges; once an organisation sees the value as Fuji Xerox has, sustainability can become embedded in the business - for me that is the ultimate goal."
Welcoming her move to the new role, Ramsay Moodie, director of corporate affairs said that: "Amanda's role is to help ensure our commitment to the cause is demonstrated in both policy and action. Her skill set is ideal to assist us further encourage our staff, clients and business partners to join us on our sustainability journey."
Peter steps up to MD
Peter Charlton has taken on the role of managing director at Optimus Management Systems.
Beginning his career with the company in the UK, 2005, Peter saw an advertisement for a position with Optimus in Australia and made the decision to trade England for the sunny shores of Oz.
In a short period of time, he's managed to go from business manager to managing director. "It felt great," he said of the promotion. "It was good to be given extra responsibility now that Optimus is under new ownership."
