Canon fires away with new communication manager

Following the departure of long-time printing identity Paul deSilva, Neale Gallagher has taken up the position of communications and direct marketing manager.

Gallagher is no stranger to Canon, having previously looked after all direct marketing activities for the company in 2006. Now, his role will encompass not only direct marketing but also communication activities for the Business Imaging and Solutions Group, including PR, advertising, events and customer facing collateral.

Only a few days into the job, Gallagher reported that he was “really looking forward to the challenge” which the role would involve.

Tahlia moves forward with CPI

Joining CPI, Westen Australia as a business development representative, Tahlia Forward is enjoying her new job.

Prior to joining CPI her work has included customer service and business development. Now, she will be involved in visiting advertising agencies, designers and government bodies and back selling products.

“I’m really loving it,” she said. “Everyone’s really friendly; there’s a lot of work ahead but it will be great.”

Another paper mate for CPI

Also new to CPI, Western Australia is Chris Ager (pictured) who takes on the position of regional sales manager.

Widely travelled, Ager has spent time in London, NSW, SA and Victoria at companies such as The Paper House and Spicers Paper. Realising that he “couldn’t stay away from paper”, Ager decided to join CPI where he manages sales and marketing, explores new products and reinforces the company’s position, strengths and services.

“It has been a refreshing change,” he said. “I needed to get re-motivated and work with people who are passionate about success and treat the business as if it were their own.”
