The winds of change – people moving, new faces, industry appointments, news
An influx of new faces arrives at K.W. Doggett Fine Paper’s Melbourne office.

After spending the past three years in Papua New Guinea as divisional manager of Mitre Hardware, Cameron Backman (pictured) is back in Australia to take up the role of Victorian state manager. The role will see him focus on–among other things–operational systems, buying strategies, general management and people leadership.

An internal promotion has seen Liam Fish (pictured) move up from being a bookbinder to taking on a new role in the specifications sales team. "I am looking forward to meeting and interacting with our customers face to face and also seeing the diverse range of work amongst Melbourne's creative and print industry," he said.
Finally, Catherine Doggett, (pictured) daughter of managing director John has been appointed the position of promotions manager. Having spent time in both Melbourne and London working in fashion buying, she’s enjoying the challenges. “I love the interaction with design community. It is great being involved in their creative projects and then following the job through to print,” she said. “I also feel very privileged to be able to work with my family; we work hard but always find time for a laugh. My dad and uncle are very motivating, positive people."
