We are strengthening our application support in Port Melbourne and invite suitably qualified high-energy individuals with sales-driven demonstration capabilities to take this challenge.

The Job

With an established and increasing base of installations in Australia and New Zealand, you will be part of a team responsible for the hands-on aspects of pre- and post-sale application support.

The responsibilities include producing benchmarks, conducting pre-sale demonstrations and post-sale trainings and technical support.

In pre-sale support, your role is to complement sales as part of the sales process. Quality of demonstrations in both the technique and content is vital.

Your understanding of customers' specific requirements and our solutions offering are important factors in helping customers decide on the most productive and effective solutions for their operations, with the objective of maximizing productivity.

In post-sale support, you will train customers on our software application tools and provide telephone or on-site support in diagnosing and resolving digital application issues.


The Person

The special qualities we look for are passion for packaging technology and the unique capability to transfer this passion into delivery of high-impact demonstrations and presentations for our end-users.

Fundamental requirements are:-
  • Diploma in Printing Technology or Graphic Arts
  • Three to four years' experience in demonstrating application software to the pre-press, pre-production or graphic arts industry
  • Excellent delivery techniques
  • Good application knowledge and understanding of packaging workflow solutions and various types of graphic editors, design software, workflow management software, sheet layout, RIPs and output
  • Experience and knowledge of flexo/offset packaging and print technologies preferred
  • Self-motivated with an innate drive for self-learning and ability to keep abreast of advancements in the packaging industry
  • Customer driven with strong sense of empowerment
  • Prepared for frequent travel within Oceania and occasional training abroad
