Two new EFI Vutek printers premiere at ISA
EFI’s latest wide format printers make world debut at ISA, Las Vegas, this week.
The Vutek GS3200 and GS5000r go on show from 16-18 April, followed again at Fespa from 12-14 May in Amsterdam. Samples printed from the machines will later be shown in Australia, but both printers will not be available for purchase locally until June.
Terry Crawford, sales development manager for Australia and New Zealand, expects considerable interest both at Las Vegas and in ANZ. “It will definitely be of interest to Australian companies wanting to increase their capacity and productivity in the print shop,” he said. “For companies in the billboard market wanting the next step in quality, the 5000R will be popular. We’ve already had interest from some major companies in Australia.”
The GS3200 (pictured) is a hybrid super-wide format printer and has the ability to have flatbed and roll to roll. “It delivers a combination of photorealistic quality and high productivity. It extends printer’s capabilities of offering a wider range of applications like exhibition graphics, fine art, photographic reproduction and point of purchase displays, banners and graphics,” said Crawford.

The GS5000 is a roll-to-roll UV printer, combining point of purchase quality with billboard production-level speeds, with an output of up to 288 square metres per hour.
